A Hate-Fueled Attack in Boulder, Colorado
The Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine is deeply saddened by the violent hate crime that took place in Boulder, Colorado, where demonstrators expressing support for the release of hostages from Gaza were targeted and injured in a deliberate, antisemitic attack.
This act of violence is not only an attack on individuals—it is an attack on the values of human dignity, freedom of expression, and the right to peaceful assembly. Antisemitism, in any form, is unacceptable. When it turns violent, as it did in Boulder, it demands a unified and unwavering response from every community committed to justice and human rights.
We at the HHRC stand in solidarity with the victims, their families, and all those impacted by this hate crime. We echo the urgent call to confront antisemitism wherever it arises and reaffirm our mission to educate, advocate, and build a world where all people are safe and respected.
We urge the public to learn more about the history and ongoing impact of antisemitism and hate-based violence. Only through education, remembrance, and action can we ensure that hatred does not prevail.
Together, we must stand against antisemitism. Together, we must stand for human rights.
