Antisemitism in the World Today

Duration: 60-75 Minutes

Grades: 6-12th grades

Schools throughout Maine, and, indeed, the rest of the United States, have faced an increasing number of antisemitic incidents in recent years. This program directly focuses on what students are seeing and experiences in schools and online. By centering the voices of those harmed by antisemitism, it gives students an understanding of what antisemitism is, the more common tropes that they are probably encountering and how to recognize them, and the harm that antisemitism causes Jewish students and the wider school community.
